Five bands. One day of live music uniting a community. A record release party never sounded so good!
OC Music Showcase and Hampton Productions present a day of music, craft beer, and spirits at the Wahoo's Fish Taco on Saturday, May 11th to celebrate new music from Jeramiah Red, Robert Jon & The Wreck, Moonsville Collective, Mega Low, and Ted Z and The Wranglers. The fun doesn’t end with the fest, catch a second wind and stay for the after party featuring Sega Genecide. Festival benefits Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
With the reemergence of Jeramiah Red, the showcase will feature a staple act of the OC music scene that’s ready to mark their return and make some serious noise with their new self-titled album and give their first live performance in nearly a year. The launch of their new single and video "Killing Time" that you can view at their website jredofficial.com kicks off the new album with grit and style.
Gearing up for more national and international tour dates in 2019, Robert Jon & the Wreck will kick off their run in OC with fiery, soulful rock and material from their new album, Take Me Higher. Moonsville Collective with their Americana String Band that stands firm in the traditions of Old Time, Folk, Country and Rhythm and blues. Up and comers Mega Low bring more local talent to the fest and will feature new music. Ted Z and the Wranglers will be showcasing new music and new album as well.
OC Music Showcase starts at 4 p.m. and wraps around 9:00 p.m., but there’s more to be heard after the festival. The official after party features 90’s tribute act, Sega Genecide, who’ll have the crowd singing along to the best anthems of the decade.
Nothing pairs with live music like craft beer and spirits, and the showcase will offer tastings from Left Coast Brewery, Towne Park Brewery, Laguna Beach Company, Chihuahua Cerveza and more! Distillers include Three Chord Bourbon and Des Madre Tequila. The main bar will feature one of the top breweries operating in the United States, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
